Could you post a photo of the sterling mark?

@viebie Hi there, after some reading I found that the eagle itself is a silver mark for Mexican silver from 1946-1955. After this time it the items were marked with the 925 and numbered. This hasn't been confirmed by a jeweler but it's my best guess so far, hope this helps.

Well, then could you post a photo of the eagle mark? The eagle marks always include a number on the interior of the eagle. The number inside the eagle signifies which silversmith created it.

If there is no eagle mark with a number in it, you should probably take it to a pawn shop or jeweler to have it tested because most of these bracelets were made of alpaca metal which has no silver in it.

@viebie The last photo is a closeup of the maker's mark. Not numbered. The eagle was a goverment mark to indicate the silver's purity, from 1948 to 1979 from what I'm reading. Replaced later by the number and 925 marking.

@viebie I've cleaned it with silver polish and it cleans up like every other piece of silver I have. While I haven't taken it to a jeweler to get tested, I did do the ice cube test on it and it seems to be real silver. I hope this helps.

Either way, it's a great price, because it still took great skill, time and effort to make these bracelets. Have a great week!
