Sterling Silver Gold Tone Amethyst Ring

Sterling silver ring with gold tone coating and set with amethyst cabochons. Stones test in the amethyst range on my presidium gem tester. Some of the gold tone is starting to rub off along the edges where the finger rubs against the ring. Size approx. 7.5 Stamped 925 and acid tests positive for sterling silver. G-4
