Sterling 1940’s Purple Glass Large Floral Brooch

This late 1940’s sterling brooch features a large purple glass “flower “ in a setting of leaves and stems, tied with a large bow. The faceted purple glass stone is securely prong set and has some light surface wear. This brooch was once gold plated, but over time and use has worn, lending a lovely dimension to the brooch. Marked “sterling “. Measures 2 7/8 by 1 7/8”.
