Hartstone USA Pottery Stoneware Stars Stripes Bowl Patriotic Candy Serving READ Approximate Dimensions: 8 3/4" Diameter x 2 3/8" Tall Bottom marked: Hartstone USA 1991 "Stars & Stripes" pattern has patriotic theme. Preloved. No noted chips or cracks. I did see a line of crazing inside the bottom of the bowl. Crazing is caused by the glaze being under too much tension. This tension occurs when the glaze contracts more than the clay body during cooling. Because glazes are a very thin coating, most will craze under very little tension.
