Created: 2017 Subject: Nature Materials: Drawing, Pencil on Paper, Colored Pen Details Size: 12" W x 12" H x 0.1" D Framed Ships in a box Original, inspired by my daily life. The illusion of looking into a kaleidoscope expressed through the patterns and reoccurrence of lines. Within the details hoping to evoke thoughts of summer mornings as the sun and nature interact. I am passionate about drawing, and the intricacy I can create with simple materials. Black cardstock and a pencil are my tools of choice. With these I can create and get lost in the details. The imperfection of nature inspired the soft flowers against the sharp complex lines. In a 8" x 11" piece of paper the details I can create is what brings me joy. The way the lead shine against the black background and its simplicity is true beauty. Adding white, silver, and gold to specific areas highlighting the beauty. A black frame highlights the art.
