Future Buddha in cast bronze. This Gandhara style Buddha is standing on a rectangular base. His face has characteristic large eyes, a prominent nose, and a mustache. His hair is in the style of Maitreya, tied at the top of his head in a bow. With his right hand, he performs the gesture of charity and granting wishes, varada-mudra. He is holding a small flask filled with a liquid of immortality in his left hand. Approximately 12.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide at the hand. Pictures are accurate.
