On Feb 24, 2022, Putin has launched an unprovoked military invasion of Ukraine. There are numerous reports of Russian armed forces bombing cities, towns and civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, maternity wards, and nuclear power plants. In the 324 days since the beginning of the invasion, over 7 million people have fled Ukraine and 6,900 civilians, including 431 children, have been confirmed killed and 11,000 injured. The UN OHCHR believes that the actual figures are considerably higher.
