This is from the St. John 2002 cruise line, design group one -- a striking rainbow zip-front jacket in the classic St. John Santana knit blend of wool and rayon. [No fabric label, but St. John fans like me can pretty much recognize the knit.] The St. John collar label had been removed before I bought it, but I guarantee this is St. John: identifying factors include the season and line identifying tag, the font on that and on the dry cleaning tag, the quality of the knit, and the jeweled zipper pull is very much like the one in the eBay listed jacket for Cruise season 2005, listed as "St John Evening Cocktail Red Paillette Sequin Jacket Blazer." The striped sequin and "baton" fabric you can also find on the eBay listing "St. John Evening by Marie Gray Multi-Color Sequin Shimmering Jacket." Those are several times pricier than this listing. I actually think this jacket is from the high-end "St. John by Marie Grey" line. Measurements: length 23.5 inches; lightly padded shoulder [pads can be snipped out]15 inches; sleeve 22 inches; pit to pit with jacket zipped up 17.5 inches. So I put this at a small to medium, depending on how tightly you like your jackets to fit. I like to do "high-low" with these jackets and un-fancy them by wearing them like cardigans, with a black tee and black jeans, and tough-girl boots or ballet flats. It's a cool look for an office-to-cocktails-to-dinner day. Priced to sell because of the missing label. From a smoke-free, dog-loving home.
