It was made using a custom made mold & hand building techniques. Then carefully carving in a turtle design in relief. Surface sealed with refined slip , then burnished. Black oxide colorant emphasized crevices, marlss that make this design pop! This is low fire functional or decorative wear. Earthenware. You may put it in the dishwasher or microwave- or hand wash- but do not heat in a oven, stove or thermal shock. Most collect this artisans work. See my listings for more of his work.
