Phillip Lim 3.1 Lilac & Pink Silk Draped Bustier Spring 2012 RTW NWT In an interview, Phillip Lim said that his 2012 Spring RTW Collection was inspired by Kites flying in the air and temporal forms. He was inspired by movement, wind, and air, and the collection featured a lot of expert draping, which is shown in this blouse from that collection. This blouse is a sleeveless style in lilac toned silk with a silk panel on one side of the bottom that is draped using hoop & eye closure. The outside fabric is draped and loose over a bustier style top which is completely covered - it has an elastic panel in the back for comfort. A side zipper unzips completely so that it can be put on or removed. 2 snaps and a loop & eye closure secure the drape. Expertly finished and new with tags. Originally purchased from Neiman Marcus with a $425 retail price tag. Note that despite being new with tags, there is one part at the front bust where it looks like one thread was pulled, barely noticable. see last photo.
