I bought these cute creamy camel beige wedges for $120 and wore them for the yesterday first time. Within just three hours, the glue gave out on both shoes, causing blowouts on the sides, and the faux lining began peeling. I actually had to cut my day short to go home and change shoes. Super disappointed and poor quality for the high price. I won’t ever buy Splendid shoes again! They are unfortunately now in a landfill.

v8eatr2005 i have a pair of splendid heels i bought from someone on here a few months ago. They were in good condition and are still in good shape. I'm so sorry you had to go through this. i honestly don't think there will be that much damage and flaws within just 3 hours of wear, did you buy them online or in person?

ferrelljennifer @v8eatr2005 I bought them in store at a well known and respected retailer. 😩 It certainly cemented my belief to buy more expensive quality shoes that can be worked on by a cobbler. Frye is definitely one of my favorites! It made me sick to spend so much money on these and not get to truly enjoy and wear them out! Glad you had a better experience

v8eatr2005 @ferrelljennifer again I'm so sorry you had to go through an experience like that. I shop second hand to save money for most of my shoes, I'm a collector 😂 but in my experience of buying shoes the mid range priced shoes do pretty well!
