Ahhhhhh!! I can't take it anymore! It's been happening so much lately when I'm shopping online that I had to say something. (Post something) ;p I guess it's the English snob in me, but online sellers, imagine how many more hits you'd get on your items if you used the proper word! Change all those "sequence" to SEQUINS. I promise you won't regret it, and I can almost guarantee you'll get more hits on your items! And more hits = more sales!

I can't stand when they spell the name of the brand wrong. It's right there, look at the tag! 😡 it's "Eva Mendes" NOT "Eva Mendez"!

@shiloh077 Hahaha!! That's fabulous! The one that kills me is when people write expresso instead of espresso! ☕️ Or pacific instead of specific 🚢

lucidbird
@shiloh077 😊 oh, please share for sure! You're right, the list goes on and on! "Petique" for petite. 😂😂😂

@aemoser87 sadly it's so common! Amusing to say the least.

This post made me smile. It is so common (much to my chagrin). You just reminded me though that I need to add the word "sequence" to one of my listings. I try to just stick the word "sequence" all by itself in a listing with sequins in case someone is doing a search.😜

Today I had a laugh looking at someone's closet who titled a listing for a top as "Don't wear". I had to click on it. She had a couple items with the title, "Don't wear" which sounded like a command, but it turns out that she was saying that she just doesn't wear it anymore. You could tell that English wasn't her first language, so I understand. It just struck me as pretty funny.

I had to laugh at this....this has bugged me too. Also the word broch (for brooch) and neckless...you got it...necklace, bracklit, and others I can't remember....all on this site. Prob on others as well. Thanks for speaking out! Susan

Ok, I had one to tell you but didn't want to look through my likes to find this. I thought it'd be quicker to look under sequence. Honest to God...100's of items came up using sequence instead of sequins...I finally had to quit looking...made me sad. The one I saw said "tweet sandals"....instead of tweed. Puh lease!! Susan

Amen!! I had never seen sequins called sequence until I started selling on Poshmark. I’ve seen it so many times since then!

@tattoosandtofu I did that years ago when I was first selling on eBay. I had a Betsey Johnson dress that sold for $9.99 because I put “Betsy”. At that time all of her stuff was selling for much higher... I learned my lesson! Plus now I know to search for mis-spellings when I want a deal :)
