Yes, I just put a brand new energizer battery into this vintage wrist watch & it works! I let it run overnight and the time is still accurate. It has second, minute and hour hands. The entire watch overall is 8 inches long. Looks like it will fit a wrist up to 7.5 inches in circumference. The face is about an inch wide and the band feels like soft flexible latex/rubber. Non-smoking home .
