Southwest American Art Pottery Candlestick Topper? Signed Handpainted Vintage

Item is pre-owned and in good condition with no cracks or chips. Smoke free environment. This is a very nice handmade pottery piece which I'm assuming is Native American. This is signed, but I couldn't make out all of the signature. There are remnants of what looks to be a spot from a candle. There are also the cut outs which would be beautiful as reflective designs from the glow of the candle. There is also a round hole in the bottom & no place to hang this, so this is definitely not a wall pocket. Piece measures 3.5" wide x 2.75" tall x 2.25" depth.
