Hello - When you say “typical size 4”, what do you mean? I’m 5’6”, 135lbs, 34C. If this is a little big that’s perfect since it’s easy to take in. Typically a size 2-4/S/XS.
Is the front measurement from the top of the shoulder to the front of the dress?

@kim_erin hey there! i actually purchased this 2nd hand; it didnt end up working for me so i copy/pasted their description when i relisted it..so im honestly not 100% sure what typical size 4 means. Id be happy to take additional measurements for you though!
and I'm going to remeasure that front length in the mean time to confirm if its from shoulder or from center chest

@shoresensation Thank you! I would LOVE additional measurements. Maybe bust, waist, hips (though that probably doesn’t matter) top length (neck line to waist, though it doesn’t seem like there is a clear waist line/belt/seem), length of the front of the skirt, and anything else that may be helpful.
Can you tell, when it was taken in, did they leave any extra material if it were to be taken out? Going from a 12-4 is a LOT. But it looks like it was done well enough.
Thank you!

I'd be curious to know the bust, waist, and hip measurements of the dress. Thank you
