The hidden wedge is leather-wrapped. Leather is soft, supple, and freshly conditioned with a beautiful shine. These are the short height shoes, so not up high on the calves - I believe Sorel brand calls this mid. I have refreshed and cleaned these inside and out. I have conditioned the leather as well! Fur lining is plush and soft.
