No remote. This unit has been tested for power and basic function. While playing a tape, it was slightly noisy with a very grainy picture (see photo). It will certainly need some attention. It is in pretty decent cosmetic condition with minor blemishing as pictured. The photos describe cosmetics the best so please view all photos prior to purchase as they are part of the description.
