The generous bail is adorned with a pear shaped ruby (1.43cts./fissure filled). **The bone used for carving is ethically sourced. Bone that is a byproduct of other industries is used for carvings.

lisa_maier @karenreynold296 Hi Karen……so sorry I missed your question from July! I feel quite sure that the stone is a ruby. I do believe that the company I purchased it from has plenty of experienced people so I don’t feel I have to worry about my purchases.
