xrabbit19 @tspurlock01 no the button doesn't allow you to do that. You can fool around with it - I did not. They say if you know someone good with phones they can fix it - or maybe the apple store. I never did anything with it- it only happened 2 weeks ago. If the phone does you plug it in and it turns back on. You can silence it from the button on the side. Its in great condition thats why I'm selling so cheap if the button worked i could easily get $350-$400. It doesn't take away from the phone still works perfectly. I never shut the phone off normally... Lol, but took very good care of it. You may even be able to go to an apple store and they may be able to fix it theres also youtube videos. I just didnt bother. But like I said it doesn't take anything from the phone & being that its in excellent condition at a good deal...
