About the Wayuu: These bolsas Wayuu were crocheted in the ancient traditions of the Wayuu tribe in the La Guajira region of Colombia. We collaborated with the people on the Mayabangloma reservation to breathe new life into Min & Mon designs using techniques this tribe has passed on from woman to woman for centuries. Our creativity is combined into a beautiful duality, bridging the past, present and future, all in a celebration of Colombian art, heritage, and of course, color.
