I also have mental issues due to physical, emotional, mental and sexual abuse by my stepfather from age 2-18... I am 67 and see a psychiatrist and therapist. My husband has had 2 benign brain tumors, battled and won follicular lymphoma and Several months later diagnosed with high risk prostate cancer.

Has had 5 days a week for 5 weeks of radiation, 2 weeks later surgery for radioactive seed implants.. he has now been released from Radio-oncologist. Doing well, has to have regular PSA test, so far so good

I also have had 5 knee surgeries and double knee replacements. I refuse to give in or give up. "My God shall sustain ME"
I clean 3 houses for friends, I have 5 grandchildren I do all sorts of activities with, I go to the gym almost everyday for about 3 hours... I am active In Church and do all sorts of crafts. So as you can see POSH is not my life but I do love it and desperately need the money.

I have a new Service (emotional support dog) and was assured her teeth were in good condition.... a friend drove me to FL from GA to get her so I could hold her all the way home... when I began checking her out all over I discovered all of her teeth were completely brown covered in thick plaque. I was furious, however with rescued there are no guarantees.

My last Service Dog, photo in my closet was 2 when I got her. She was in good shape physically but had trauma from her abuse. She was with me 10 yrs and passed away Dec 10th. This new adopted fur baby... 🐾🐩🐾
Anyway I called the Foster at the shelter. She said there was nothing she could do. She also had loose teed and cavities.

I went to work, I used peroxide & gauze pads and cleaned her teeth 3 x's a day, at PETSENSE, got a gel you rub on the teeth that works without brushing, since her teeth and gums were so sore she could hardly eat.
That was in Dec..about a month of doing this the plaque began to chip away. Her teeth are now almost all completely white. However she still needs a dental appt to have deep cleaning and loose teeth pulled.. 😰
I guess I said all of this to say. "I do my best at everything I do.

I want to do so much more with Posh, sometimes I am up all night responding to likes, comments and sharing,,, I really need to take the time to get more things listed so I can make the money I need to get my Fur Baby a dental appt. she is such a baby too, so sweet and so loving. I adopted her but she rescued me . After Missy's death I thought I would die too.. that day...

I have to have a Service Dog .. due to the abuse I have severe depression, high anxiety, panic attacks, night mares ( afraid to go to bed, can't sleep without a light... ) also suffer from PTSD. I TRY MY BEST TO STAY STRONG, I only take pain meds if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY !!! I am a SURVIVOR... if you are here thank you for reading ... I have an awesome testimony to tell even after all the abuse in my life. I have never abused drugs or alcohol..

@sfpatterson have you tried the “medical marijuana “ or CBD? I don’t know if it’s legal by you but it works miracles for your condition and you would qualify. You don’t have to smoke , they have lotions (CBD is legal everywhere). And you don’t “get high” with lotions I apologize if I’m getting to personal or overstepping. My husband suffers so much with pain that I know how difficult it is.
