Sorry for the late response, time has not been a friend to me lately. @lydpemb Frye boots have more room on the calves area than other brands, unfortunately I can't guarantee a size 8 fitting, and yes I could come down on the price a bit, I originally posted them at $250 @ellec617 sorry but no trades.

Yes they are @mijv23 they come up to the top of the calves but not too close to the knee.
