Smithsonian By Goebel Porcelain Mistletoe Vase

Smithsonian porcelain vase by Goebel. Green mistletoe design with white background. It measures 8.5" in length and 4" wide at the rim. #' at base width. This is a special edition piece from the 1960s. Gold trim around the top and base. No chips, cracks, or scratches. The base or underside of this vase is imprinted in gold and reads, " The Smithsonian Collection - crafted by Goebel (of Germany) is based on original artwork found in the Smithsonian Libraries". There is a number etched in the base (75.). I believe it could be based on the year the vase was produced. The number is small and faint. The vase is perfect for Christmas AND all year round occasions and is a licensed reproduction from the mid-20th century (1941-1969). It is beautiful. (NF)
