haleymbecker @grizzlyboarder Hi. Thank you for the question. I believe that it is real leather. The little leather black tag that you see in the picture says "Befen" on it as the brand-- as does the paper tag. I googled "Befen" and they say their products are genuine leather. It feels like genuine leather to me.
