lsumrell @christinebegley thank you so do you. From years of collecting and now I’m ready to get rid of things I can’t fit into and just don’t wear anymore. And besides I had to have some pipes replaced in my yard that was over 5 grand ouch. Sure could have used that elsewhere but oh well. I need to recoup some $$$👍

lsumrell @poshsouthbelle again I can’t believe after dropping the price to what it is it still hasn’t sold. The price started out very fair and now it’s ridiculous. I’m going to give a lot of this jewelry to my best friends daughters if and when I close the closet. I’m not going to “give” it away on here.

poshsouthbelle @lsumrell *closet. I couldn’t live without mine. I’m also trying a new one, but not sure I like it as much. It’s supposed to be able to do silent lives, so trying to give it a go but they are still working out the bugs. There’s a great one for only $10 a month that does a lot. You just have to babysit it a little.

poshsouthbelle @lsumrell haha! I did one silent show thinking it would automatically count down and go on to the next. I had to sit there and do it myself and was like never again! When I heard about this other app working on automating them, I got interested. But, the $10 one is oh so faithful. It’s in the App Store, and simple to use. It’s actually free for 25 item sharing at a time. Unlimited items and shares is what you pay for. You should try it. You’ll start getting more sales with the free version.

poshsouthbelle @lsumrell yes, they are killing sales. I had someone decline an offer and message me a nasty gram in my bundle today. Stated she has sourced for cheaper before and is trying to spend less on her closet, not more. Whatever that meant. She could have countered. I told her this is not a yard sale and blocked.

poshsouthbelle @lsumrell I’ve had so many cases lately, too. I think it’s bc of these small business thank you stickers I use, haha. I made new ones that just say thank you myself today. I haven’t lost a case, but dang it is stressful and many times I would have offered them something if they just asked. Their mistakes or remorse is not a reason to lie and call me names. Never had cases until the last few months since 2019.

lsumrell @poshsouthbelle I think they are trying to get to keep the item and get a refund. I was scammed by a psychopath a few years ago and have never felt the same about Poshmark since then. I’m always checking out customers to try and feel them out to see if I detect any scamminess. I really shouldn’t have to work that hard!!

poshsouthbelle @lsumrell no you should not! Yes, some people I will block and even cancel if they give me a bad vibe. Any time I don’t go with my gut, they open a case. This last one came out of nowhere, though. She needed a longer chain than she got. I would have helped her and let her have one for the same price had she asked for my help. I would have likely given her one free after the fact had she come to me first. I’ve mostly learned the ones, though. Also, every time I have a big sale I have problems.

poshsouthbelle @lsumrell I’m like you. I prefer the buyers that just pay my asking or send me a reasonable offer. There are good buyers, but it’s like the platform only throws a couple my way on the weekends lately. Christmas time it’s much better, so I may build up my closet and wait it out. I told my husband that I won’t let certain things just go. It’s hard sourcing lately, take me longer than average to list these items detailed and very time consuming. I’ll wait until Xmas if I have to. 😂
