Sklo Union Chribska Glassworks 'Cats Head' Vase by Josef Hospodka Green & Amber

This is a gorgeous Chribs- ka Glassworks blown glass vase, Sklo Union, Czechoslovakia circa 1960'5. A Stunning 'off-hand' design by Josef Hospodka, one of the leading designers of Czech glass, his sculptural pieces were inspired by developments in Murano and Scandinavia. The organic form, resembling a cat's head could be used as a vase. The vibrant green tone is bright and combined with the curved form, catch the light beautifully. In a double graduated colored cased glass, similar to the Murano 'Som-merso' technique. Would make a Great addition to any collection of Sklo, Czech or European Art Glass, and would complement any retro, vintage, mid century mod-ern, 60's, 70's styled interior. In Excellent Condition, a couple of tiny light scratches not noticeable on display.
