Velcro to tighten or loosen the fitting. Velcro in excellent condition. These were so comfortable to wear and I've held onto them for so long thinking I'd wear them again. I've graduated to a size 10 so I think it's time to part ways with this pair of gems. Hopefully someone else can love them like I did 💓
