Simulated Blue Sapphire & White Diamonds 925 Silver W/18K Gold Dip Ring Size 5.5

My wonderful fiancé gave me this ring & he purchased it tagged as a size 6, but it didn't fit, so we put it on the ring sizer & it's obviously smaller than a size 6 (see pictures). To me, it appears to be right about the 5.5 mark, possibly between 5.5-5.75, but definitely not a size 6. It's so beautiful, the pictures dont do it justice!
