Vintage 1960s Simplicity 7977 sewing pattern to make four styles of girls' hats with variations from a beret to a sweeter-than-sweet petal shaped hat. Also makes a helmet shaped hat that ties under the chin and a bucket hat with ruffle trim. Available in Girl's Size 21.75". Pattern is uncut with factory folds. OOP pattern copyright 1968. Girls' Set of Hats: The set of hats are lined. Beret V. 1 with upper and lower crown sections has covered button trim. V. 2 & 3 have a six section crown. V. 2 with gathered brim has optional embroidered eyelet edging and ribbon bow. Petal-shaped V. 3 has contrasting lining and optional ribbon tie ends, streamers, and daisy medallions. Helmet-shaped hat V. 4 with elastic casing at back has ribbon tie ends and optional streamers and daisy medallions. Fits girl's head size 21.75". Envelope condition: Envelope has some very small tears along back edges under envelope flap plus storage wear and some discoloration from age; no writing or store stamp. Flap is intact.
