Simon Basket Purse Faux Tortoise Shell Lucite Handle & Trim Brass Accents 50's

This is a sturdy well made Vintage Basket Purse in excellent condition. The interior tag says "Made Exclusively For Simon, Hong Kong, Styled by Ernest Slum" and research states these are handmade. The exterior is a woven vinyl wicker, the faux Tortoise Shell Lucite is beautiful and the gold/brass color hardware with a twist lock closure are in excellent condition. The interior has two pockets, one with a zipper in good working condition. The lining is also a vinyl with no rips or stains. For a purse from the 1950's it is in amazing condition. This is from my personal collection and would make a great addition to your collection.
