Silver Plated Yachting Award by Spies Brothers

A silver plated trophy from the Inland Lake Yachting Association (ILYA) made by Spies Brothers Jewelers of Chicago. The inscription reads: CLASS C 5th There is no date indicated. Spies seems to have been active from the 20s through the 50s (the ILYA is still going strong). The trophy is 6.5" high including the base, 4" across at the handles, and weighs six ounces. Very good condition. Some tarnish and a small dent in the back as shown in the photos.
