You can dress it up for going out, or super casual for everyday wear. I'm excited to have added this line of beautiful, yet still very affordable, sterling jewelry to my boutique. Measurement: the tip of the clasp to the tip of the last O-ring is 8 inches. To the best of my knowledge and ability, I believe components of this bracelet have a thick silver plate and are *not" entirely sterling silver. I do see some reaction to the "magnet test" using a commercial grade magnet, especially with the connecting jump rings. My daughter has this same bracelet and it has worn well, despite getting a beating while she performs, and shows no sign of tarnish or discoloration, so I feel confident standing behind this description.
