Silver Peacock Brooch and Clip Earring Set

This vintage brooch and earring Demi Parure was made in the 1940's in Siam, now known as Thailand. This hinged brooch and earrings is an estate sale find, gently worn over the decades, and are still in good condition. The beautiful peacock shades of blue and red are highlighted on the brooch with gold vermeil over sterling silver. This peacock pin measures 2 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" wide across the wings and tail feathers. The maker's mark on the back of this brooch has been dulled; however, it originally read "Siam Sterling" or "Alex and Co." The hinge and clasp are in good working order. The sterling silver peacock clip earrings are also hinged and measure approx. 1 1/4" tall x 1" across the wing tips. These earrings have pierced wing detail and blue enamel. They are marked “Sterling Siam”, are in good condition, and this unique jewelry set will be delivered in a gift box.
