Silver Indonesian style pendant

Carved face silver pendant. This very unusual pendant was purchased years ago from a jewelry shop in the French quarter of New Orleans. I was told it was sterling, but I do not see any marks indicating that. I believe the face is carved bone but I’m not sure of the material. This pendant is beautiful! It comes with the pretty ribbon which accents the stone on the pendant. However, it can easily be put on a silver chain or a leather chain if you prefer. All my items come from a home with one dog and two cats .
