Silk Screen Temple Elephant Traditionally Dressed. India Authentic

This is a horizontal framed hand painted on silk collectible treasure from India. This temple elephant is dressed with decorative and colorful ceremonial coverings with a traditional gold nettipattam adorning its forehead. Perhaps readying for a Temple festival. This silk painting of a Temple Elephant dressed in traditional nettipattam and colorful ornamental attire is old vintage and was a gift from a child we sponsored from India living in Oakland (Waterville) , Maine as he went to Colby college. Interesting how when he got married, we received a gift as we were also considered parents. These Temple elephants are centered in a blue and gold border with a floral pattern. The silk is then mounted to an off white mat with an interior gold border to highlight the silk painting.
