Signed Wells Hand Engraved ELC or ECL Sterling Silver Screw Back Earrings

These vintage sterling earrings are screwbacks and have a 9/16" diameter. They are hand engraved and traditionally would be read "ELC", but today can also be "ECL", reading straight across. They are signed "Wells" a fine jewelry manufacturer, and "sterling". The surfaces could use a good polish.
