Mesa Verde Pottery Navajo Chip Serving Plate – A Timeless Piece of Native American Art
Mesa Verde Pottery is located below the majestic Mesa Verde Plateau in southwestern Colorado. This area is the homelands of the Navajo & Ute Indian people. Pottery making has been a tradition in this area for over 1,000 years. The pottery produced at the shop is individually hand-painted by the American Indian artists & signed on the bottom of each pottery piece. Designs are original reflections of the rich heritage of the southwest Indian culture. Lead-free glazes are used making the ware safe for food and drink. Wares with non-glazed interiors, however, should not be used for liquids.
Discover the beauty and craftsmanship of this stunning Mesa Verde Pottery chip serving plate, handcrafted by Navajo artist Jones Nav. Featuring a mesmerizing blend of mauve, steel blue, and beige, this plate embodies the spirit of Southwestern artistry and the rich cultural heritage of Native American pottery.
Measuring 11.25” in diameter x 2” H, this piece is not just a functional serving plate but a true collector’s gem. The intricate decorative details and traditional design make it a striking addition to any home—whether showcased as a display piece or used for serving guests in style.
In very good vintage condition, with only a few minor glaze misses on the rim. Don’t miss the opportunity to own an authentic piece of Navajo artistry—a timeless treasure that celebrates Native American culture!
