Signed KJL for Avon Faux Black Pearl Enameled Panther Necklace

Designed in 1988 for Avon by Kenneth J Lane, this fabulous panther is from the Duchess collection. The large ( 11mm) faux pearls are a dark steel grey to mimic fine Tahitian pearls. They are accented by rhinestone rondelles. The magnificent panther head is dimensional and accented with clear rhinestones and glowing green eyes. The necklace is in excellent condition and measures 19". Signed KJL for Avon. This piece is shown in Collecting Costume Jewelry 101 by Julia C. Carroll on page 220.
