                Signed, Rare, Incredible mid-century modern hand-formed glass bowl made by Carl Erickson. Just a stunning piece!  
In Excellent Condition.  No issues only some light scratching on bottom.
This rarely seen wonderfully asymmetric biomorphic bowl features a thick black glass encased in clear glass that gives an aqueous look to the piece.

Erickson Glass Works, Bremen Ohio (1943-1961) Founded by Carl Erickson and his brother. In the early 1930's He was employed by Libbey Glass and then by the Blenko Glass Company, where he was a production manager and supervised production of the reproductions made for the Colonial Williamsburg foundation. He specialized in fine free hand blown glass, all from his own designs. Most of Erickson pieces are unsigned, those that are signed are a distinctive cursive Erickson signature
