alleshanicole87 @xmaurer69 from what I have read I believe it also works for a canon EF. The sigma lens is designed to be used on different brands.

xmaurer69 @alleshanicole87 you are correct, sigma lens will work on different camera systems, with there specific thread and contact terminal combinations, like canon ef mount, Nikon f mount, Sony is A mount, but don’t quote me on that. I’m not familiar too much with Sony. So with all that, said your Sigma lens will only work on a Nikon camera system. Thanks

sarahashley968 @alleshanicole87 it will NOT work with a Canon EF mount. Nikon is an F, Canon DSLR is E or EF. Nothing interchangable there.

sarahashley968 I can't figure out how to message you other than here. The reason I'm biddimg lower isn't to low-ball you, it's going off the prices on mpb and keh - these used camera parts come with a complete inspection and 6 month warranty. So I'm in the range I'm gonna drop on an old version of the lens without the second hand warranties and inspections. I appreciate your time.
