Enclosure is snap in style via a hinge with a safety chain. The bracelet tapered a bit by the backside of the bracelet with thicker sections towards the top. The engravings are hand done in Thailand, formerly commonly referred to as "Siam." Inner shank is marked as sterling with 925, tested positive via chemical testing. All silver pieces are hand polished before photographing. I tend to repolish before shipping however, if you do not want me to polish, let me know. Some do enjoy the natural patina.
