I believe its real leather not positive I dont remember and its hard to see the inside cause these are skin tight fitting shoes. They give a very sexy look form fitting your calves. They are an Italy size 39 which in US is from a 8-9. I think they fit more like a 9. I only wore one time and that's when first got them just trying them on and walking in them.
