This beautiful 12" salad bowl and rare bed/ serving tray with custom checked edge from Sherwood Forest Design NY is a must-have for any Americana-style kitchen. The round bowl and tray are made of hand turned maple and are heirloom quality for a lifetime of celebration. Each tomato has 7-8 layers of paint so they look fresh from the vine! They have been offered at The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. . The bowls have been sealed 8 times with non-toxic water-based clear for a lifetime of daily use. . Hand wash, soap and water. No microwave or dishwasher . Bowls can be used for fruit, pasta, potato and green salads with your favorite dressing. Balsamic, olive oil and lemon can all be used. . No utensils, but can use any wooden salad serving set . Few normal wear spots noted: one on the bowl edge ( shown in photos) tray has few a marks on corners on underside and some scratches and wear marks at handles and a little seperation on two corners with a few scratches, still very sturdy and beautiful!
