On and on the cycle goes--the cells start out at the bottom all plump, hydrated and healthy, and as they get pushed to the top they flatten out and lose their moisture content which makes our skin look dull and lifeless. Since the skin cells are going through the process faster, it gives them less time to lose their moisture and flatten out which means your skin cells arrive at the top, visible layer of epidermis fatter and healthier looking which means your skin looks like a newborn’s chubby cheeks.
