sparklechick1 Can you measure the p2p laying on a flat surface? I bet you are off by some inches here.

swag_in_the_bag @sparklechick1 I don’t know what p2p means - I’m not sure what measurements are inaccurate- if your interested I’d be happy to remeasure once you lmk what part of the dress your thinking is “off” thanks!

sparklechick1 @swag_in_the_bag oh sure--"p2P' is posh-speak for pit-to-pit or armpit-to-armpit, basically your picture 4. So you already have it. But as you can see, because the dress is hanging up it is kind of wavy, throwing off the reading already, the zero-point of the tape measure is actually starting in space somewhere, and it's hard to see where the other end actually lands. If you lay the dress on a flat surface like a table, you can provide a MUCH more accurate reading.

sparklechick1 @swag_in_the_bag Also, for a size 14 dress, 15" seems really, really off--it should be much closer to around 19"--22" for most designers. So that's another clue for me that the measurement is a bit wonky. For horizontal measurements, laying it on a flat surface is definitely the only way to go, though for the vertical read it's a little less important (though still best).

sparklechick1 @swag_in_the_bag But in any case, I need a p2p of 21" for it to fit, so 15" won't work. Since I like the dress and need more work clothes & this would be perfect if it fit, I am asking you to remeasure out of pure self-interest. :-) (If I sound like a teacher, it's because I am; the fall semester has started and I'm in instructor mode again, can't help it. It'll wear off in a week or two, it's just really bad the first couple weeks of school...)
