Vintage botanical print of "Aconitum Napellus" commonly known as Monkshood or Wolfsbane. This plant is native to the mountainous regions of the Northern Hemisphere and thrives in moist, well-drained soils. Grown primarily as an ornamental plant for it attractive flowers, it has, historically, been used in traditional medicine, however, with extreme caution due to its toxicity. Matted and framed in a faux wood frame thought to be a mix of resin and wood. DIMENSIONS: 12.5" wide x 15.5" tall. 7.5" x 9.5" exposed measurements of vintage botanical. New without tags and in wonderful condition.
