Set of FIVE Vintage MCM 1940s Red Wing Provincial Oomph Individual Ceramic Bowls w/ Double Handles Lidded Brown teal dusty green color. Hand Made. Perfect for baking meat and potatoes or vegetarian dishes for company. Each bowl measures approximately 4 1/4" in diameter (not including handles) and 2 1/3" tall (without lid). These casseroles come in the Country Tariff pattern and are brown with a turquoise interior. These casseroles are vintage, with the pockmarks and small pits typical of this line of pottery. "Country Fare" was manufactured by Zanesville Stoneware, Louisville Stoneware and John B Taylor Inc. The distributor was Carbone Inc. of Boston, who at various times contracted with these companies for the manufacture of this cookware. There's really no way to tell for sure who made the item.
