Set of 3 Shenango Chardon Rose New Castle, PA Red White Elegant Floral Restaurant China Very good vintage condition with some cutlery marks. Finely produced restaurant china from around 1950s, mid century. Bowl has old maker mark with an American Indian pottery maker, signifying hard work and a quality item. Elegant pattern has a chinoiserie feel. 7 3/8” D. Thick, heavy and durable dinnerware. Transferware pattern. Marked Design Pat. Stamped in green. Three marks on underside due to manufacturing processes. Also comes with Shenango China New Castle, PA USA Sugar Bowl w/Lid 4 3/8” D x 3 3/8”H Red Floral Excellent antique condition without cracks or crazing. There is one small chip out of the lid. It is almost unnoticeable from the exterior. Crisp scrolling floral pattern is done in a rich red against a white background. Clean interior. Piece was made mid to early century. This company solely made fine china hotel and restaurant ware prior to 1935. The company continued production through the latter midcentury as well. Piece us marked with the image of a hardworking American Indian making their high quality pottery. Also marked RimRol WelRoc T/M F-13. I have seen it called Chardon Rose online.
