Set of 2 Water Color Hearthside Blush Salad Plates, 7 3/4” Hand-painted in Japan

Set of two beautiful Hearthside Water Colors Blush Salad Plates. The pattern is well recognized and nostalgic for some, myself included. Design: features a creamy light tan stoneware base with reddish-brown bands on the rim and delicate hand-painted pink and cream floral designs, often described as poppy-like. Manufacturer & Origin: Manufactured by Hearthside in Japan. Era: The "Watercolors" line, including the "Blush" pattern, dates back to the 1970s-80s. Size: This is a salad-sized plate, measuring around 7 3/4 inches in diameter. Material and Care: Made of stoneware, these plates are generally durable and can be dishwasher and microwave safe Condition: as these are vintage pieces, they show signs of wear, as expected. There is a crack on the right side of one plate that is also present on the back, however it hasn’t separated yet. There is crazing on both plates and marks from regular use. See all photos.
