Set of 2 Vintage Hand Carved Oak Bowls Serrated Edge Two Tone 8" and 5.5"

Beautiful set of wooden, shallow, hand carved bowls. These are made of oak. They have been stained dark, then the design has been carved into the wood so the natural color shows through. They have been coated in a protective varnish. I would not use these for food as I do not know what kind of varnish was used. The smaller one has a hanger on the back. The larger one is 8" wide and 1.5" tall, the other is 5.5" wide and 1" tall. They weigh a combined 14.5 ounces. Their origin is unknown, but I have seen similar designs online that are from either Germany or Poland.They are in excellent condition.
